FOCUS SESSIONS FOR PEOPLE WHO MAKE THINGS
Build. Code. Create.
With friends.
Book a 25 or 50 minute video session with another creator. Say what you’re making. Sit down and make it, side by side. It works because a real person can see you, and you can lie to a to-do list but not to a face.
Free account, no card. Sessions run on the half hour.
01 · THE HOUR
Fifty minutes, witnessed.
Say hi
Two minutes. You each say the one thing you’re making this hour. It stays pinned on screen the whole session, right above your faces.
Focus
Cameras on, heads down. A focus bed plays on your side only and ducks to silence the instant you unmute, so your partner never hears it. Share your screen if the work lives there.
Wrap
The clock rail flips to WRAP and you land the plane. The booth even stays open five minutes past zero, so a real conversation never gets cut off mid-sentence.
DONE.
The screen flips, your session number posts, and you answer one question: did you do the thing? Then you tell them how it went. Sixty seconds of debrief that change the other fifty minutes.
02 · WHAT’S IN THE BOOTH
Focusmate walked so this could run.
“Sara edited chapter three. Joe shipped the checkout page. Joe also rearranged his desk for nine minutes, but we’re not talking about Joe.”
JACE, the co-host
An AI voice with a broadcast habit closes your session with a line written about this exact hour: your names, your intentions, how many times you two have worked together. House rule: he roasts Joe, never you.
Lock it in
One shared card at the end. When you both tap, a real recurring series books itself. The habit forms while you’re still feeling good about it.
Silent mode
Camera on, mic off, zero small talk, flagged before anyone books with you. Body doubling for people who came to work, not to chat.
The drop
Every session ends with one thing on both screens that neither of you has seen. A tiny shared payoff at the exact moment you earned it.
Solo still counts
Nobody claimed your slot? Walk in and work anyway. It logs, it counts toward your streak, and if someone claims it late they walk right in.
Bring your own witness
Hand a link to anyone. They join free, no card, and land straight in your session. From then on they’re one tap away, forever.
03 · DEEP MODE
Showing up is step one.
Deep Mode is the scoreboard.
The free product gives your work a witness. Deep Mode decides what the hours are for: five goals with numbers and deadlines, a printed wall behind your desk, tomorrow planned tonight, and a booth that quietly keeps score.
- The wall. A six-screen setup writes your five goals, your motivation list, and the 2.0 version of you. Then you print it and hang it where you can’t not see it.
- Pre-loaded hours. Plan tomorrow’s four sessions tonight. The booth pre-fills your intention before you type a word.
- The honest counter. Every time you leave the tab, it counts. Silently. At the end it asks one question: what pulled you?
- Hours, filed. Each session auto-files to a goal and a category. Watch where your weeks actually go.
- The chain and the board. Consecutive four-hour days, plus a leaderboard against your buddies where the flex is how fast you start after waking.
Built on Matthew Larsen’s Work Form System, remixed for creators as The Modern Creator Protocol.

05 · FAQ
Fair questions.
Do I have to talk to a stranger?
Barely. Two minutes of hello, fifty minutes of quiet work, one minute of “did you do it?” And Silent mode drops even that: camera on, mic off, wave then work. You can also just invite people you already know.
What if nobody claims my session?
Work it solo. It still logs, still counts toward your streak, and if someone claims it late they walk right in. The fastest fill is the invite link: send it to one person and your session is set.
Is the camera required?
Yes. The camera is the product. Being seen is the entire mechanism; without it this is just another timer, and you already own nine of those.
When do sessions run?
On the half hour, around the clock, 25 or 50 minutes. You book the slot that fits your day and timezone. Night owls welcome; half the point is that someone somewhere is also working at 3am.
What exactly is Modern Creator Network?
The creator community this runs on. Full Access is a real MCN membership: community, courses, live shows, and the other tools on the network. Create With Friends is the front door.
What’s the refund policy?
There isn’t one. All sales are final. Full Access is a one-year commitment by design, and the free plan exists precisely so you can prove the mechanism on your own work before you spend a dollar.
Get in the room
